Do I need a referral from my doctor?

A referral is not necessary, you can directly make an appointment yourself. If you have any relevant documentation from ACC or other health professionals, please bring this along.

How many treatments would I need?

The number of treatments required is entirely dependent on the nature of your injury and your progress in between treatments.

What do I have to wear?

Just wear your regular clothes, but loose-fitting clothes will be convenient. In case of injury to your hip, knee or ankle, bringing a pair of shorts would be helpful.

Can I bring a support person?

Yes, we fully support you having a support person present during your visit.

Do you have parking available?

The Karori Village Health Centre has 3 parking spaces in front of the building. There is a larger car park located just across the road, behind the Marsden Village shops.

Is your practice accessible via public transport?

There are multiple bus lines that stop often in Marsden Village. The Karori Village Health Centre is right behind the city bound bus stop.

Is your practice wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Karori Village Medical Centre is wheelchair accessible.

Will I be charged if I have to cancel my appointment?

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please call or email us at least 4 (working) hours before your appointment time. If you do not let us know and fail to attend, you may be charged the appointment cost.
